A seasoned carpenter and structural engineer with two decades of experience.
I am Ziggy Birch, the driving force behind Birch Carpentry and Build. With over 19 years in the building sector and 22 years managing properties, my journey began at 16, working alongside my godfather as an electrician. My expertise expanded through roles from estimator to founder of a construction company. I've spearheaded significant projects, from complex concrete works to advanced heating systems, evolving into a seasoned professional in construction project management and design.
Settled in the UK since 2015, I've collaborated with top home builders, guiding timber frame production and earning a gold-level certification from the Structural Timber Frame Association. My career, rooted in hands-on construction and broadened by studies in law, accounting, and property management, equips me with the unique insights necessary to lead projects that stand out for their quality and ingenuity.
